🖥️ Senior Symfony / PHP Developer for a Figma-to-Symfony Website Rebuild

Can you turn a complete Figma design into a fully functional Symfony website without losing the important details along the way? 👀

We are looking for an experienced Symfony / PHP developer or a small development team to help us implement a new website design into an existing Symfony application 💻

We are not looking for someone who will simply code a few static pages. We need someone who can propose a solid technical solution and think about how the website will be managed in the long term.

The new design includes multiple content sections and widgets, most of which should ideally be manageable directly from the administration ⚙️

The project may also include integration with Podyx, depending on API availability and the release of its new version.

🎯 What will your role be?

You will play a key role in turning the new design into a functional, fast and maintainable website.

‍

Your main mission:

• performing a technical audit of the existing Symfony application 🔍
• implementing the responsive Figma design in Symfony
• building individual content sections and widgets
• making selected content manageable through the administration ⚙️
• connecting the frontend to the existing backend and data
• potentially integrating Podyx through its API
• optimising performance, responsiveness and technical SEO 📈

We need someone who can:

• review and understand an existing Symfony application
• recommend the most suitable implementation approach
• identify potential technical risks and limitations
• prepare a realistic estimate of the workload, timeline and cost 💡
• deliver a solution that works well not only at launch, but also in the long term

🛠️ What solution options are we considering?
We have a clear idea of the desired result, but we are open to recommendations based on a technical audit.

We are currently considering:

• full integration into the existing Symfony application
• essential Symfony integration with a limited number of dynamic and admin-managed sections
• a standalone solution if full Symfony integration proves disproportionately expensive 💻

We are not looking for the most complicated solution.

We are looking for the option that makes the most sense in terms of cost, functionality and future website management.

• strong experience with PHP and Symfony 🧑💻
• experience with Twig or modern frontend implementation
• experience building responsive frontends from Figma designs
• experience with admin-managed content and CMS-like systems ⚙️
• experience creating different content sections and widgets
• the ability to work with external APIs
• an understanding of technical SEO, performance and website speed 📈
• the ability to independently analyse an existing application and propose a suitable solution
